"I am more organized than I have ever been.
Implementation was a breeze, but using the system on a day-to-day basis is even easier."

Reel Fish Prints
Tell us a bit about Reel Fish Prints.
I started making fish prints of real fish about 5 years ago. The process is quite simple, catch a fish, paint it, and transfer the fish’s imprint on a cloth that can then be framed. Think of it as taxidermy for fish, but in just two dimensions. Anyway, I started doing prints for myself and then quickly learned that there is a market for this type of art. I have since branched out into making greeting cards that are sold at numerous retailers throughout California.
So how did you hear about the Pelotonics Group Collaboration application originally?
I was looking for a project management application that would make sense to me for quite a while. I have numerous accounts to communicate with and keep track of. Most of the other systems I saw were either overpriced, or so feature rich that the usability was compromised. A friend told me about Pelotonics and I researched it that same day. It looked like a very usable program and one that would work for my purposes. I was relieved that my search was finally over!
Tell us how you use the application.
As I said, I have many people to collaborate with and keep up to date with. My clients that I do prints for each have an account on the system that let’s them keep tabs on the progress of the print. This has been a great addition as I was fielding a great deal of “where do we stand?” calls. These are fine when you are starting out, but when you start doing volume, it is critical to have these inquiries managed on a proactive basis.
I also use it to collaborate with my retailers. Rather than calling or sending emails, we collaborate through the system to make sure that they are well stocked with inventory.
How many projects do you manage on the system?
About 7 - 10
How have your customers and retailers reacted to the system?
They use it... they really use it. That’s the big news. Some are really impressed with the leadership that I am showing by using the system. Others don’t mention anything about it, but use it religiously. I think that is the biggest indication that they like using the system.
What would you change about the system if you could?
I would like to see some integration with Microsoft products like Outlook. I hear that you have that in the pipeline, it that true?
You are right. That is a release that we are looking forward to. Thank you for your time Jim. Thank you for making Pelotonics a valuable addition to your business. We look forward to growing with you.
Thank you.
